The appartment itself is very quiet and secure (secured door and windows). It is a large volume place (3 meters high) and well re-freshed by two fans fixed to the ceiling.
It is composed of:
- 2 bedrooms. A parental room (around 17 m²) and a children room (we have twins) of 11 m²
- a large living room (approx. 30 m²) with sofa, flat screen TV
- a large kitchen with table and chairs, fully equiped (micro-wave, oven, toaster, dish-washer, large frigde, ...)
- a brand new bathroom
You'll find everything you need to enjoy your stay (dish, towels, ...) and are free to use anything you want as long as you use it as if it was yours.
You can also have access to the internet with the free WiFi.
The Appartment is located in the older part of Puteaux next to Paris.
Puteaux is known to be one the richest city in France as it hosts the french "Manhattan": La Défense. But our appartment is located in the older part of the city, just by the "Seine" river, which has kept its authenticity and looks like an old village with small streets and typical pre-war buildings.
Next to the appartment you'll find:
- a bakery (approx. 30 yards)
- many cafés
- 3 supermarkerts (from 200m to 500m)
- many restaurants (chinese, pizzas, french food, take away ...) as the street we're living in is parallel to the most active boulevard of the city
- Theater (200m)
- Cinema (500m)
- public swimming pool (400m)
Just pass the bridge over the river and you're in the "Bois de Boulogne" and can enjoy an early footing.
Regarding transports, you have many possibilities to join Paris and other places to visit:
- many buses lines will drive you to Paris. The appartment is surrended by 3 bus stops (lines 93, 42, 157)
- one bus line (144) will take you in 5 minutes to the center of La Defense (the bussiness area of Paris) and its stores. From there the A train line will take you to the Champs-Elysées in 5 minutes and Disney resort in 40 minutes
- a metro station (10 minutes by feet) from which you can take line 1 which drives through Paris and can take you to Champs-Elysées, Louvre, Opéra, etc...
- A train station (5 minutes by feet) from which you can either join directly Paris in 10 minutes (Saint Lazare Station) or Versailles (20 minutes)
... Normally, you should not need a car :-). May you need one, we ra open to a car exchange. We can lend you our parking place as it's very difficult to park in Puteaux. |
