Our house is situated in a country village in inland Málaga (35km from Málaga city) in the pretty Guadalhorce Valley. Our house has a sunny patio with table and chairs to sit and enjoy the Andalusian sun or prepare a bbq. The patio is secure and perfect for visitors with dogs. You will find yourself in the open countryside, in 5 mins.There are great walks and hikes (Up to the hill-top monument and hermitage) . There is a pine forest on the hills above us. You can hike right up to the hermitage and to the monument of the sacred heart at the summit. It's a popular place for cyclists. Pizarra is a great base to visit other interesting towns inland as well as coastal. In the town, there are some nice restaurants with typical Málaga cuisine as well as a few fast food outlets.There's also a public swimming pool.The beautiful coast is just 35 mins away with all its attractions such a zoo, 2 aquariums, and 2 water parks. Málaga is famous for its great seafood . Málaga city's vibrant annual summer fair takes place from 12th-19th August and is great fun for all the family. Our town is 40 mins from Málaga airport.
